Bridget Smith has over 25 years of experience in transportation planning, engineering, organizational management and public finance. She has led major safety programs for Sacramento and San Francisco and managed large teams that delivered award winning bicycle, pedestrian, and traffic calming projects. Bridget was instrumental in helping San Francisco launch Vision Zero.

Jay Kim has over 26 years of experience in transportation planning and engineering with the City of Los Angeles. Jay has managed the transportation review of large-scale development projects including Playa Vista, LAX Master Plan, and NBC Universal.

Chief Devon Farfan

Devon Farfan, Chief - Parking Enforcement & Traffic Control 
Chief Farfan joined LADOT 32 years ago as a traffic officer and holds the distinction of having worked at all five of the Department’s Parking Enforcement and Traffic Control area offices. Before joining LADOT, Chief Farfan was employed with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

Marcel has over ten years of experience in transportation, planning, and economic development.  Prior to joining LADOT he was the Associate Director of Transportation for Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Connie llanos

Connie Llanos, Assistant General Manager - Office of External Affairs
Connie Llanos has more than 10 years experience working in strategic communications in the public and private sectors. She began her career as a journalist in Los Angeles, and served as a senior communications advisor to several local elected officials including Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. Prior to her current position, Connie was Deputy Policy Manager for Airbnb in the greater Los Angeles region.
