News & Information
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation
strives to keep the public informed about the many mobility-enhancing
projects that occur throughout the City of Los Angeles.
The release of news and information about the Department
is handled by its Public Information Office. This Office
corresponds with the media and the public, as well as other
government and non-government agencies.
Media Inquiries
Media representatives seeking information about breaking
events should contact the Public
Information Office directly. Requests for data that
is to be included in news reports with longer deadlines
are filled with a
Media
Inquiry form.
Press
releases are periodically released to alert
the media to important, timely Department happenings.
Public Inquiries
The Public Information Office also works with the public
and non-media agencies to provide information about LADOT
initiatives. The Department provides general interest information
online throughout its website and makes available some special
interest documents, such as LADOT’s history
booklet.
Specific
documents can also be requested through the Department.
